Apple keeps its promise of ensuring 10 hours of battery life in its iOS devices. Many critics said that that the new iOS7 update will affect the battery life as because of the whole new design with dynamic wallpapers, parallax view that uses the gyroscope continuously, multi tasking, background app updates. But Apple proved them to be wrong. In the WWDC 2013 summer conference, Apple ensured that the new iOS7 will be packed with new features without compromising the battery. They focused on the battery and so they didn't implement the true multi tasking in its earlier versions. But this time, with iOS7 they kept their promise of not draining too much battery for those new features. Although the first iOS7, v 7.0.1, the devices had many problems with wifi, extensive battery draining and also some performance instability with A4 and A5 equipped device, some security flaws like bypassing the security lock using camera on the lock screen. But the new update, v 7.0.2, which was released roughly 10 days of the biggest update, had wiped off almost all the earlier flaws of wifi dropping while a device is kept locked for a long time, the security key bypass, performance instability and battery draining.. And yes, the second iOS7 update aka v7.0.2 was really fruitful!!!
After an extensive usage of my iPad, playing high end games like Real Racing 3, Dead Space, Infinity Blade 2, games like subway surfer, temple run2, 24 hrs wifi connectivity resulting in real time mail update, browsing, back ground app updates, obviously multi tasking, with all these, Apple still keep its promise of providing the same 10 hours of Battery life to my iPad.. Here is the snapshot!!!
